Peter Thomas Scolari was an American actor who played Michael Harris on Newhart from 1984 to 1990 and Henry Desmond in Bosom Buddies from 1980 to 1982.
Scolari was nominated for three Emmys for his work on Newhart, and in 2016, he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his recurring role as Tad Horvath on Girls.
